GIF to WebP Converter is a browser extension that converts animated GIF files to animated WebP images entirely on your device. We designed it to work offline and without collecting your personal data.

Data we do not collect

The extension itself does not:

Upload your GIF or WebP files to any server
Track your browsing activity
Require an account or login
Store your files beyond your browser session
Request special browser permissions

All GIF decoding and WebP encoding happens locally in the extension popup using JavaScript running on your computer. Your files never leave your device through the conversion process.

Contact form

If you use our contact page, the information you submit (such as your email address and message) is sent through Formspree, a third-party form service, so we can read and respond to your inquiry. Please review Formspree's privacy policy for details on how they handle submitted data.

Analytics and third parties

The extension does not include analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts. These standalone web pages may load fonts from Google Fonts when you visit them in a browser.

Children's privacy

The extension is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
